The Finnish Ministry of Defense reported that the package approved by President Alexander Stubb will be worth EUR25 million. Finland has classified the contents of the new package as usual. However, it is known that the package will include winter gear for the Ukrainian military.

So far, Finland has supplied Ukraine with defense equipment totaling EUR2.3 billion. It is noted that the 26th aid package will be provided to Ukraine in early 2025. The Finnish Ministry of Defense did not provide more detailed information on what will be included in the aid package and the method or schedule of its delivery "for operational reasons and to ensure the delivery of the cargo to its destination."

Finland participates in the armored coalition to help Ukraine, led by Poland, Germany, and Italy, and also in the information technology coalition, led by Estonia and Luxembourg. Finland also joined the Czech initiative to purchase ammunition for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It is known that Ukrainian defenders are armed with Finnish-made Sisu XA-180 armored personnel carriers.

According to the Oryx analysts, Finland supplied Ukraine with Leopard 2R engineering vehicles, which are based on the Leopard 2 tank.

The assistance included Soviet weapons: the 2C1 Gvozdika artillery system; 2A36 Hyacinth-B; 130-mm M-46 cannon; 23-mm ZU-23-2 twin anti-aircraft gun. Finland actively supplies Ukraine with ammunition for various weapons, including, in particular, 155-mm artillery shells.
