In November 2024, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified over 120 new weapons and military equipment types. The majority of them are unmanned aerial systems, most of which are produced in Ukraine. The Ministry of Defense's press service reported on this.
The Ministry of Defense noted that about 90% of the more than 120 models of weapons and military equipment that were codified for the needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces last month are new domestically produced weapons and equipment. The list includes mostly unmanned aerial systems, ammunition (mainly for UAVs), and engineering equipment. It also includes electronic warfare (EW), signals intelligence (SIGINT), and communications equipment.
Most of them are also Ukrainian in origin. In addition, the list of new weapons and military equipment approved for use in the armed forces in November includes new mobile rocket launchers intended for certain units of the Defense Forces, a domestically produced armored ambulance, and a new armor-piercing round, etc.
