Syrian rebels have captured the latest Russian 48Ya6-K1 Podlet-K1 radar. The photo was published on the Status-6 page on the X social media. The station was discovered during the battles for the city of Hama, which is under the control of Assad's forces.

The radar is designed to work with Russian S-400 and S-300PMU-2 air defense systems.

Podlet-K1 is capable of detecting targets at distances from 10 to 300 km and at altitudes up to 10 km in low-altitude, high-altitude, long-range, and mountain modes, as well as providing target guidance to air defense systems.

It is possible that the station will be transferred to the Turkish military, which is armed with Russian S-400 SAMs.
