This is stated in the Kyiv City State Administration's report. These funds are to be accounted for in the city's targeted "Kyiv Defender" program. It is detailed that the financial assistance is aimed at logistical support of military units and is not definitive.

The Mayor of Kyiv noted that the capital would look for opportunities to increase assistance to the Defense Forces and allocate more funds to support military units.

In addition, funds are planned to be allocated for payments to military personnel and their families for housing and rehabilitation.

The report details that for 2024, the capital budgeted UAH 1 billion of aid to the Defense Forces but allocated 10 billion.

Aid from the people of Kyiv

Militarnyi recently reported that the Kyiv community transferred 1000 FPV drones with thermal imaging cameras to the soldiers of the 4th Rubizh Operational Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. The Mayor of Kyiv also shared that on November 21, the Day of Dignity and Freedom, the 4th Brigade of the National Guard soldiers received Heavy Shot heavy bomber drones and Mavic quadcopters of various types from the capital's citizens.

At that time, the Ukrainian defenders also received FPV drones and electronic warfare systems to protect soldiers in the trenches and for vehicles used by the military near the front line. Since 2022, Kyiv has allocated almost UAH 800 million from the city budget for equipment to the 4th Rubizh National Guard Brigade, including more than UAH 310 million this year.

Aid from Ukrainian cities

On November 27, it was reported that the soldiers of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade received 250 FPV drones and 20 Mavic 3T quadcopters from the Vinnytsia community.

This is likely part of a large batch of 2,000 FPV drones that Vinnytsia purchased in November and prepared for delivery to various units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

This is not the first time that the Vinnytsia community has provided the Ukrainian military with drones of various types and purposes, including reconnaissance, attack, and FPV.

The community has also provided the Ukrainian Defense Forces with vehicles, electronic warfare (EW) equipment, and other necessary equipment.
