ASTRA reported on this, citing its own sources in the city's medical institutions. According to their information, after the missile strikes on December 11 in Taganrog, 41 soldiers were hospitalized in medical institutions, and another one died on the spot. At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that there were only injuries among the soldiers as a result of the fall of the missile debris.

It is reported that 15 of them were wounded as a result of the attack on the military camp of the Taganrog-Central airfield. The personnel of the 5th Aviation Group of the 6955th Air Base are stationed on its territory. The video released from inside the building shows significant damage, including the through destruction of the walls.

"I'm basing this on the fact that there is a stove in the large room (in the video). I know this room.

Then they have a long corridor. But only on the basis of this room, it was a large communal kitchen. The building is made of white brick, five stories high.

This is a hotel building. Civilians used to live there two years ago, but they were evicted, and contractors were moved in as a place to transfer the warehouse. Now there are no civilians there," the source shared with ASTRA.

According to him, ambulances and cars have been leaving the military unit since the morning, presumably with evacuees and the wounded, and access to the entire territory of the military camp has been closed.
