Most clashes on 20 December take place in Kursk Oblast – Ukrainian General Staff

Details: In total, 40 combat clashes took place on the Kursk front. In addition, the Russians launched a missile attack and 260 artillery attacks.

On the Pokrovsk front, the Russians attacked Ukrainian positions 31 times, with 5 clashes still ongoing. On the Kurakhove front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 19 attacks, and 3 combat clashes are still ongoing.

On the Vremivka front, 13 Russian attacks were stopped, and 3 more are still ongoing.

On the Lyman front, 11 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of the day, 4 of them are still ongoing. According to the General Staff, the Russians continue to use aircraft, in particular, they are dropping guided aerial bombs. Ukraine's defence forces are holding their lines and taking measures to prevent a breakthrough.

It is also reported that the Russians continue the artillery shelling of the territories bordering the Russian Federation.
