The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that 6,617 candidates are currently undergoing the selection and registration process. Residents of Dnipropetrovsk region demonstrated the highest activity in terms of the number of applications - more than 14% of the total number for the entire period of the centers' operation. The regional distribution of activity is as follows:
- Dnipropetrovsk region - 14.71%
- Kharkiv region - 14.69%
- Kyiv city - 14.63%
- Zaporizhzhia region - 12.48%
- Lviv region - 11.65%.
The Ministry of Defense noted that recruitment centers offer vacancies not only in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but also in the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, and the Security Service of Ukraine.
Of the more than 10,000 open positions, the most popular are for drivers, drone operators, staff and medical personnel. Currently, there are 44 recruitment centers in Ukraine, as well as a hotline for consultations. At the recruitment center, a person has the opportunity to choose a career path and then, with a letter of recommendation from a military unit, go through a training center to get to the place where they would like to realize themselves.
This initiative is part of a pilot project of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which aims to create a transparent and effective system for attracting citizens to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The project not only opens up new opportunities to attract personnel to the army, but also improves the quality of selection, raising the level of professionalism among recruits. Conventional mobilization through the Territorial Center of Recruitment and Social Support does not provide such an opportunity, and often the future unit of service, as well as the specialty, remain unknown. Previously, the Unmanned Systems Forces also opened a recruitment center in Kyiv.
The recruitment center in Kyiv is the second recruitment center of the UAV Force.
The first one was opened in Lviv in July 2024.
