Ukrainian Defense Forces destroy Russian ammunition depot

According to the publication, drones were used to destroy an enemy artillery and mortar ammunition depot near the village of Markyne in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region. Thousands of ammunition for infantry fighting vehicles, tanks, anti-tank guided missiles, mines, grenades and millions of rounds of ammunition of various calibers were stored there.
The published video shows a strong fire and secondary detonation of ammunition stored in the warehouse. According to the publication, a fuel and lubricant warehouse located next to the ammunition depot was also destroyed.
The village of Markyne in the Novoazovsk city community of the Kalmius district of the Donetsk region is located near the Azov Sea coast, near the border with Russia, at a distance of more than 100 km from the line of contact.

The destruction of ammunition depots of Russian troops, in particular in the deep rear, in the temporarily occupied territories, is an extremely important task for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This helps to reduce the intensity of shelling of Ukrainian positions. As a reminder, a Russian ammunition depot recently exploded in Yenakiievo. The residents of the city's neighborhoods adjacent to the depot were evacuated due to the threat of detonating ammunition fragments.
In local public media, the residents reported that the target of the Defense Forces had been an ammunition depot of the Russian invasion army, which was located in the private sector near the military training ground.
It is likely that the Russian military facility was struck by several precision-guided missiles from the U.S.
