The UA_REG TEAM Telegram channel shared the footage of the operation. The sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Special Operations Center "West" stormed one of the invaders' positions, restoring the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Kursk oblast. Using the captured invaders, the soldiers of the SOF organized a "radio game" in which they reported to the Russian command that they were continuing their duty and waiting for the promised reinforcements.
"The next day, the enemy sent reinforcements in the amount of 20 people on three armored personnel carriers. Not expecting the absence of the "reds" at the position, the enemy safely turned around near the shelters to hurry the infantry," the SOF soldiers say. At that moment, the subversive group opened fire on the Russian marines, hitting the armored vehicles with AT-4 anti-tank grenade launchers.
A sniper with thermal imaging optics eliminated the rest of the soldiers in the open area. As a result of the battle, the soldiers destroyed two BTR-82A armored personnel carriers and damaged another.
The Russian infantry was neutralized. In early December, the same group of the Special Operations Forces raided enemy positions, eliminated seven Russian invaders and captured eight more in the Kursk oblast.
