Captain Involved in Strike on Hroza Village Blown Up in Russia

This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine. On January 3, 2025, an explosion occurred in the village of Shuya, the Ivanovo region in Russia, in the epicenter of which was the battery commander of the division of the 112th Missile Brigade of the 1st Tank Army of the Western Military District, Captain Nagayko Konstantin Vladimirovich. According to the agency, the captain received multiple shrapnel wounds to virtually all organs, including the brain, and underwent skull trepanation.

Captain Nagayko was born on November 6, 1995 in Svobodny, the Amur region in Russia. He graduated from the St. Petersburg University of Aerospace Instrumentation and the Mikhailovsky Military Artillery Academy.

He directly participated in the full-scale war against Ukraine. He was involved in attacks with Iskander ballistic missiles on civilian and military targets in Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

In particular, Nagayko's unit committed a war crime in the village of Hroza, Kupiansk district.

On October 5, 2023, a rocket attack was launched on a local cafe, which was hosting a memorial dinner for a fellow villager. The victims of the attack were 59 civilians, including an eight-year-old child. The investigation revealed that the cafe was hit by a missile from the Iskander tactical missile system.

As a reminder, in October 2024, a Tu-22M3 bomber pilot involved in the shelling of civilians in Ukraine was killed in Russia. The pilot of the Tu-22M3 bomber, Dmitry Golenkov, was found dead in an apple orchard in the village of Suponevo, Bryansk region of Russia. According to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, the pilot died as a result of a hammer to the head, which resulted in fatal injuries.

Major Dmitry Golenkov is a war criminal involved in missile attacks on Ukrainian civilian targets, including the Amstor shopping center in Kremenchuk, Poltava region, on June 27, 2022.

At that time, there were about 1000 people in the shopping center, and as a result of that terrorist attack, 20 people were killed and dozens were injured.

Golenkov was also responsible for a strike on a residential building in Dnipro on January 14, 2023, which killed 46 Ukrainian civilians, including 6 children.
