Astra reported on this. The attack on the enterprise took place around 1:30 a.m. on January 26, 2025. At the time, local residents reported several powerful explosions and a strong light that appeared in the sky.
Along with the attack, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of 15 drones, of which eight were shot down over the territory of the Ryazan region. According to published photos and videos, an oil refinery at coordinates 54.5708423, 39.7456613 was attacked.
Pavel Malkov, the region's governor, reported on his official Telegram page that air defense and electronic warfare forces had destroyed the drones over the territory of the Ryazan region and that damage was being assessed. There were no casualties among the population.

It should be noted that this refinery was already attacked two days ago, on January 24, 2025. At that time, according to local residents, they heard at least 10 loud explosions, followed by fires.
Rosneft controls the Ryazan oil refinery and has a declared refining capacity of up to 17 million tons annually. This makes it one of the largest refineries in Russia.
It is located more than 450 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
The company is the main motor fuel supplier for the regions around the Russian capital.
In early May last year, Militarnyi reported that Ukrainian planes had hit this Russian refinery.
