Reconnaissance personnel of the Ukrainian Navy received 100 Darts strike drones from the donors

The soldiers of the Black Six intelligence unit of the Ukrainian Navy received a large batch of Darts strike drones from the KOLO Foundation. This was reported on the charity's Facebook page. The cost of delivery is UAH 3,900,000.

This batch of 100 kamikaze drones is the second half of the drones for Ukrainian defense that are part of the Explosive Darts 2.0 project.

Ukrainian military from various units actively use Darts fixed-wing kamikaze drones at the front against the Russian invaders.

They are used to strike important targets and various enemy weapons and equipment systems at a distance of 40-60 km, depending on the payload. These drones from the Ukrainian manufacturer, designed on the basis of components from FPV drones, can fly at a speed of 160 km per hour and are equipped with a warhead weighing 3.5-4 kilograms.

The Darts has a wingspan of 1.9 meters and a fuselage length of 1.5 meters. The drone is equipped with a single engine in the nose. The drone's fuselage is designed to withstand numerous hits from small arms.

Destruction of radar

Recently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine used drones to destroy a Russian 1L119 Nebo-SVU radar in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region.

It is reported that the radar destroyed on January 18, 2024, belonged to one of the units of the 90th Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade of the 49th Combined Arms Army (military unit 54821, Krasnodar Krai). Three drones were used to strike the 1L119 Nebo-SVU.

According to preliminary estimates, the damaged Russian radar is beyond repair.
