Russian attack UAV strike infrastructure in Sumy Oblast

Russian forces launched an attack on the infrastructure of Sumy hromada using Shahed drones on the evening of 5 January (a hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories).  Source: Sumy Oblast Military Administration on Telegram; Ukrainian Air Force Details: At 18:56 on 5 January, Sumy Oblast Military Administration reported that Russian forces used Shahed attack drones to strike Sumy hromada's infrastructure.

According to early reports, there were no casualties caused by the attack.

The aftermath of the attack is being assessed.

Earlier, at 17:46, an air-raid warning was issued in Sumy Oblast due to the Russian drone attack.
