The brigade's press service reported this on its Telegram page. According to the Commander of the 2nd Battalion of the 79th Brigade, who goes by the call sign Typhoon, the position was attacked for several days before the assault using Kazhan strike drones and FPV drones. After that, the task was set to take the position, and a pair of assaultmen from the 2nd Battalion's 8th Company moved in to assault.

With the cover of strike drones, which suppressed the enemy, the soldiers managed to approach the dugout unspotted and began throwing grenades at it. At first, the Russian soldiers thought they had come under friendly fire from their own assault unit.

But when they realized that Ukrainian soldiers were storming them, they decided to surrender without a fight.
