Ukraine enters new year with record budget surplus – PM Shmyhal

Details: The prime minister stated that the state budget for 2024 was executed. All priority expenditures were funded, and all social obligations were fulfilled.

These are record figures." The Ministry of Finance revealed that the general fund of the state budget received approximately UAH 2.2 trillion (approximately US£52.31 billion) in taxes, fees, and mandatory payments. A total of over UAH 3.1 trillion (US£73.71 billion) was received in the general and special funds.
