This was reported by the Swedish government. It provides for a doubling of the fleet of previously promised Stridsbat 90 high-speed attack boats. The total number of these boats in service with the Ukrainian Defense Forces will now be 38 units: 32 from Sweden, 3 from donors and 3 from the Netherlands.

The Swedish government will provide Ukraine with 23 naval combat modules to equip these boats.

Other items in the package

The new Swedish aid package provides for 146 trucks and one million rounds of 12.7 mm ammunition to Ukraine. In addition, Sweden is providing 200 AT4 anti-tank grenade launchers, including training versions, and 1,500 missiles for the TOW anti-tank missile system.

Ukraine will also receive individual and group equipment for infantrymen and personal protective equipment against mass destruction from the Swedish government. "Sweden's military support to Ukraine is always based on Ukraine's needs and priorities. This knowledge is formed through constant bilateral contacts and multilateral work in coalitions of forces and means," the statement reads.

Separate items of expenditure include £58 million for the education and training of Ukrainian soldiers abroad, and £71 million will be spent on repair and maintenance of weapons already transferred by Sweden. Sweden will allocate £250 million to various international funds to support Ukraine, including £178 million for the Danish model of financing the Ukrainian defense industry.

It is reported that £534 million will be used to manufacture the weapons needed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine from international manufacturers: artillery, drones, missiles, and more.

As a reminder, Swedish plans to finance the production of Ukrainian long-range weapons became known in November.
