The units posted the relevant videos on their social media. Soldiers of the Ronin unit of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade hit an enemy Tor-M2 SAM in the area of the lifting mechanism of the radar guidance station. The attack took place south of the village of Novomykolaivka, which is located in the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region.

The distance from the contact line to the position of the combat vehicle is about 42 kilometers.

The second air defense system hit by the Ronin was a Buk-M3, which was moving to a position west of the village of Zaporizhzhia. The damage was inflicted at a distance of approximately 35 kilometers from the front.

The combat vehicle was hit in the transport and launch container of a 9M317M anti-aircraft missile. The consequences of the hit were not further documented. It can be assumed that the strike damaged the anti-aircraft missile, but it is possible that it was not affected.

The third destroyed system was a Tor-M2, operated by soldiers of the Perun Battalion of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. The enemy air defense system was destroyed on the territory of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation near the village of Grafovka. The SAM was located 13 kilometers from the border with the Chuhuyiv district and about 18 kilometers from the Kharkiv district.

The strike was performed in the area of the radar station. The border controlled by Ukrainian troops is about 23 kilometers away.

In general, none of the damaged systems can be considered destroyed, but the damage to both Tor-M2s may put the combat vehicles out of service for some time.

On January 16, Militarnyi reported that scouts from the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade and an adjacent artillery unit had discovered and destroyed an enemy Strela-10 air defense system in the Kursk region.
