The video of the operation was released by the press service of the Special Operations Forces. According to the press service, during the special operation, the soldiers quietly entered the forest belt, from where the enemy controlled the approaches to the seized industrial facility, and cleared the territory. During the battle, six Russian troops were eliminated.

The Ukrainian military also found a fortified concrete dugout and destroyed it using 15 kilograms of explosives.  The powerful blast caused the ceiling to collapse, leaving no survivors.

The assault took place in Kotlyne, Donetsk region.

Assault on PPS-2

The SOF group performed a task that allowed two other units to quickly move into the industrial zone of the settlement on armored HMMWVs, clear all the buildings and knock out the enemy infantry. The tactical group quickly moved to one of the buildings of the Pokrovske mine administration (PPS-2), which was controlled by the enemy, and cleared the premises. The SOF operatives held their positions under enemy attack for two days.

As a result of intense fighting, a fire broke out on the territory. After successfully completing the task, the group of SOF commandos retreated in an organized manner on armored HMMWVs.

As a result of the lightning-fast operation, 23 occupants were killed: 10 in the building and 13 in its perimeter.

There were no losses among the Ukrainian forces.
