This was reported by the press service of the ministry. The Gimli is a versatile unmanned platform designed to perform a wide range of tasks in difficult high-intensity combat conditions. Due to its modular design, it adapts to various use cases.
Depending on the configuration and mounted equipment, the Gimli can evacuate and transport personnel, carry ammunition and supplies, and perform other critical logistics and support tasks.

In addition, the platform can be equipped with weapons and used as a mobile combat module against enemy targets. The Gimli series of drones has compact dimensions, which greatly facilitates their transportation and deployment in the combat zone.
They are equipped with a silent electric motor that ensures low visibility during missions. A full charge of the batteries lasts for several hours of continuous operation, which allows them to operate effectively in dynamic combat conditions.

Equipped with day and night optics, they can carry out missions at any time.
Recently, Militarnyi's reporter, Kateryna Suprun, interviewed members of the Khartiya National Guard Brigade, who, in particular, operate Gimli drones. One of the Brigade soldiers praised the Gimli for its modularity.
On February 1, it was reported that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and authorized the use of the Gromylo unmanned aerial vehicle system in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
