This was reported on the defense ministry's official website. This ground drone was tested in real combat conditions: it fought as part of the Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region. The Liut UGV is designed to perform a wide range of tasks in difficult conditions, including surveillance and fire support for Ukrainian units.

It is armed with a 7.62-caliber machine gun and additional equipment that can detect and engage targets both day and night. The Ministry of Defense reported that the ground drone is quite compact: it fits in the back of a military pickup truck and is equipped with a silent electric motor.

It is noted that the battery capacity is sufficient for a long time of operation. The UGV has a fairly high ground clearance, which allows it to move steadily over terrain with difficult terrain. "Liut" operates in a wide range of temperatures. The main task of the ground robots is to strengthen the units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and replace soldiers in the most dangerous areas.

The operator can control the ground drone from a protected position. In September 2024, soldiers of the UA_REG unit of the Special Operations Forces conducted a comprehensive attack using the Liut drone near the village of Volfyno in the Kursk region. The attack also involved FPV drones and a mortar.
