Afterward, the Russian infantrymen tried to bypass the structure and approach again, but failed. FPV drones arrived to support the Ukrainian soldiers, causing the enemy infantry to scatter: a machine gunner fled the battlefield, one was killed, and two took shelter in the basement. Eventually, Skala's soldiers left the building and captured the two remaining invaders from the basement.

X user, known as moklasen, detailed that the battle took place in the central part of the village of Shevchenko, near Pokrovsk.

In late February, Militarnyi reported that Skala soldiers had successfully cleared enemy positions and captured a Russian soldier.

The operation to eliminate the invaders was conducted in cooperation with drones, which used a drop system to force the enemy to hide in a dugout.

The trenches were cleared in a "two-man" format: one soldier provided cover, while the other threw grenades into the dugout.
