Quote from Office of the Prosecutor General: "The investigation suggests that a civilian couple from Poltava Oblast, acting on the instructions and under the remote supervision of 'curator', came to Ternopil to install explosive devices near the military enlistment office. They were to receive a reward for this."

Details: It is reported that the suspects, two drug addicts from Poltava Oblast, a 42-year-old man and his 30-year-old partner, who were looking for money for a 'fix' on Telegram channels, picked up the improvised explosive devices left for them from the store's storage rooms and brought them to a rented flat after receiving telephone instructions.

The plan was to place remote-controlled devices under a parked car near the military enlistment office and in the yard near the administrative building. First, the explosives placed under the car would have detonated, and then another explosive would have detonated when emergency services arrived at the scene.

The SSU exposed the agents at the initial stage of their subversive activities.
After their crimes were documented, both suspects were detained as they were on their way to the site of a planned terrorist attack with explosives.
