Russians conduct 165 attacks on battlefield over past day – Ukraine's General Staff

The Russians have been intensively attacking the Lyman, Pokrovsk and Kursk fronts. Source: General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, information as of 08:00 on 7 April Quote: "Over the past day [6 April], the enemy conducted a missile strike, using 23 missiles, and 90 airstrikes, dropping 158 guided aerial bombs, on Ukrainian positions and settlements.

In addition, the enemy fired on [Ukrainian positions] over 5,600 times, including 149 times from multiple-launch rocket systems. A total of 2,112 loitering munitions were also launched."

Details: On the Kharkiv front, two clashes occurred near the city of Vovchansk and towards Kamianka. On the Kupiansk front, eight Russian attacks were recorded.

Ukrainian defenders repelled Russian attacks near the settlements of Pishchane, Nova Kruhliakivka, Bohuslavka and Zahryzove. On the Lyman front, the Russians conducted 22 attacks, trying to advance near the settlements of Novoiehorivka, Nove, Kolodiazi, Yampolivka, Nadiia and towards Novomykhailivka, Novoserhiivka, Torske and Ridkodub.

On the Siversk front, two clashes occurred near the village of Bilohorivka. All Russian attempts to advance were repelled.

On the Kramatorsk front, the Russians did not conduct any active offensive. On the Toretsk front, 18 Russian attacks occurred near the settlements of Dachne, Dyliivka, Toretsk and Leonidivka. On the Pokrovsk front, 53 Russian attacks were repelled near the settlements of Sukh?

Balka, Kalynove, Udachne, Sribne, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotliarivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka, Bohdanivka, Vodiane Druhe, Kotlyne and Uspenivka. On the Novopavlivka front, nine Russian assaults were repelled near the settlements of Rozlyv, Kostiantynopil, Vesele and Burlatske. On the Huliaipole front, three Russian attacks were recorded near the settlements of Pryvilne and Vilne Pole.

On the Orikhiv front, four unsuccessful Russian attempts to break through Ukrainian defences were recorded near the settlements of Shcherbaky, Mali Shcherbaky and Kamianske. On the Prydniprovske front, one Russian attack was repelled. In the operational zone in Russia's Kursk Oblast, 35 assaults were recorded over the past day.

In addition, the Russian launched fire 212 times, including 13 times from multiple-launch rocket systems, and 16 airstrikes, involving 27 guided aerial bombs.

On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there is no evidence of any offensive Russian groups being formed in the area.
