Russians launch nearly 90 attacks on Pokrovsk and Toretsk fronts – Ukraine's General Staff

A total of 156 combat clashes have occurred on the battlefield over the past day, with fighting on the Pokrovsk front remaining the fiercest. Ukrainian defenders have repelled 57 Russian attacks there. Russian forces have also attacked the Toretsk front 29 times and the bridgehead in Russia's Kursk Oblast 13 times.

On the Kupiansk front, five Russian attacks were recorded. Ukrainian defence forces repelled Russian assaults near the settlements of Zahryzove and Petropavlivka and towards Nova Kruhliakivka.

On the Lyman front, Russian troops launched 19 attacks, trying to advance near the settlements of Hrekivka, Nove and Katerynivka and towards Novomykhailivka, Torske and Zelena Dolyna. On the Siversk front, Russian forces attacked near the settlement of Verkhnokamianske and towards Ivano-Darivka and Vyimka. There were four engagements in total.

On the Kramatorsk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled one Russian assault towards the village of Predtechyne.

On the Toretsk front, the Russians launched 29 attacks near the settlements of Krymske, Dachne, Druzhba, Dyliivka, Toretsk and Leonidivka. On the Pokrovsk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 57 Russian attacks near the settlements of Novokalynove, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Zvirrove, Udachne, Preobrazhenka, Sribne, Novoseriivka, Nadiivka, Uspenivka and Andriivka, and towards Romanivka, Oleksiivka, Vodiane Druhe, Kotliarivka and Oleksandropil. On the Novopavlivka front, the defence forces repelled nine Russian assaults near the settlements of Rozlyv and Kostiantynopil.

On the Huliaipole front, the Russians did not conduct offensive operations. On the Orikhiv front, Russian forces launched eight unsuccessful attacks near the settlements of Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky and Kamianske. On the Prydniprovske front, the Russians attempted to push towards the Ukrainian fortifications twice without success.

In the operational area in Russia's Kursk Oblast, 13 combat engagements were recorded. The Russians carried out 359 artillery strikes, including four with multiple-launch rocket systems, and 16 airstrikes using 28 guided aerial bombs. There are no signs of the Russians forming offensive units on the Volyn and Polissia fronts.

Ukrainian troops continue to inflict significant losses on Russian manpower and equipment and actively undermine their offensive potential in the rear.
