"As two neighbours, both of our nations deserve to have reliable peace, security, and development," Sybiha added.
Background:
- On 3 April, Szijjarto publicly invited his Ukrainian counterpart to a meeting in Brussels and accused him of cancelling previous negotiations that were supposedly scheduled for the previous week.
- Sybiha publicly agreed to the meeting but gently pointed out that the Hungarian minister had been untruthful about their prior arrangements.
- European Pravda sources confirmed that no meeting had been agreed for the previous week, and therefore it could not have been "cancelled", as claimed by the Hungarian minister.
- It is worth noting that Szijjarto visited Moscow last week for the 13th time since the start of the full-scale war while continuing to refuse visits to Kyiv.
