Ukrainian President visits brigades in Zaporizhzhia region

Photo credits: Office of the President President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited the locations of the brigades conducting offensive operations in the Zaporizhzhia region. According to the Presidential Office's website, President Zelensky visited the brigades together with General Tarnavsky.
The President has heard the reports of the commanders concerning combat actions in the frontline areas that are under their responsibility. He has also discussed with the commanders the most problematic issues in their units. The battalion commanders told Zelensky about the combat use of equipment and weapons provided by the partners.
Volodymyr Zelensky visited the following brigades:
- 3rd and 15th operational brigades of the National Guard;
- the 47th and 65th separate mechanized brigades;
- the 46th airmobile brigade;
- the 10th Army Corps - the 116th, 117th, and 118th brigades.
The military emphasized the need for electronic warfare equipment and air defense systems to counter enemy aircraft and UAVs. According to Zelensky, there is also a need for drones, as they are quickly consumed in offensive operations.
In addition, as to the Office of the President, Volodymyr Zelensky ordered the systematization of the requests of the military.

However, the advance is significantly hampered by mines and concrete engineering fortifications on key dominant heights. Recently, it became known that the Russians were building new fortifications in their rear in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Over the past few weeks, Russian troops have built new fortifications near Chervonoselivka, which is almost 22 kilometers away from the front line.
