The Board of Judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court upheld the lawsuit of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine against the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus and applied the sanction. "The HACC seized the components of the electric aircraft launch system for the state's benefit," the report said. According to Dzerkalo Tyzhnia, an aircraft engine is also being prepared for nationalization.

The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine filed lawsuits on the nationalization of properties of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus and the Russian company Volga-Dnepr. Those regard the following items:

  • six D-18? aircraft engines (belonging to Volga-Dnepr);
  • an AI-25TL aircraft engine and an SV-25TL air starter (belonging to the Ministry of Defense of Belarus).

These engines are designed to be installed on passenger and transport aircraft. The SV-25TL starter is used to start them.

They were presumably under repair in Ukraine before Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. D-18? high-bypass turbofan, manufactured by Motor Sich, has been in serial production since 1984.

It is used on An-124 Ruslan and An-225 Mriya transport aircraft.

On the other side, the AI-25TL is designed for training aircraft. The engine is equipped with a special lubrication system that ensures normal operation at zero and negative Gs.

Last year, Ukraine presented aircraft engines at the SAHA EXPO exhibition.

In particular, the AI-322F jet engine, which was optimized for operation on modern training aircraft.

Also, a small-sized MS-400 jet engine, designed for subsonic unmanned aerial vehicles, was demonstrated.
