Ukrainian flags are raised in The Hague for Ukrainian Independence Day
Ukrainian flags were raised in the centre of The Hague, where all the key institutions of the Netherlands are located, on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine. Source: European Pravda Details: The ceremony was attended by Wopke Hoekstra, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, and Oleksandr Karasevych, the Ambassador of Ukraine.
Wopke Hoekstra, who raised one of the flags together with the ambassador, published footage along with his address.
Today, #Ukraine celebrates 32 years of independence. Before the war, the streets of Kyiv would be a festive sight. Now, the people are fighting for their freedom.
