Come Back Alive Foundation launches fundraising for Leleka-100 drones

The Come Back Alive Foundation, together with the 1+1 media group, is launching the Aerial Reconnaissance League 2.0 project to purchase Leleka-100 drones. The Foundation's press service reported about this on its social media. As part of the project, the Foundation intends to raise UAH 10,231,500 to purchase 10 Leleka-100 drones.

They will be used to equip five previously acquired control points, forming five full-fledged reconnaissance systems. The Leleka-100 is one of the most popular and best reconnaissance UAVs that can adjust artillery fire to a depth of 50 km.

The UAV is capable of landing and taking off in radio silence mode, and the operator can turn on or off the video feed during the flight.

The drone can be used day and night and is resistant to adverse weather conditions. The operator can track the location of the UAV on satellite maps and control its route. In the event of enemy electronic warfare, the drone can fly autonomously, return, and land at a pre-programmed point.

In early August 2023, with the help of such a drone, soldiers of the 80th Air Assault Brigade destroyed a vehicle of the Russian Buk air defense system. A month earlier, an aerial reconnaissance unit of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade used a Leleka drone to detect and track a Russian SAM system, which was later destroyed due to this UAV.

It is known that this drone was used to adjust the fire of Ukrainian Bohdan ACS in early August during the fighting in eastern Ukraine.
