“Some in Europe” play along with Russia with restrictions on Ukrainian grain – Zelenskyy

In his speech at the UN General Assembly on Tuesday 19 September, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy mentioned the topic of restrictions on imports of Ukrainian agricultural products by individual EU member states. Quote: "And it is alarming to see how some of our friends in Europe play out solidarity in political theatre, making a thriller from the grain," he said.

"And they may seem to play their own role, but in fact they are helping to set the stage for a Moscow actor," he added. The president did not specify exactly who he meant, but he was probably referring to Poland, Slovakia and Hungary, which recently imposed restrictions on the import of Ukrainian agricultural products.
