The President gave the highest state award to the family of Sergeant Ihor Kolesnichenko, who also received it posthumously. Zelenskyy also awarded the Zolota Zirka (Gold Star) order to the family of a fallen pilot, the Hero of Ukraine, Major Danylo Murashko who conducted 141 combat flights from the beginning of the war in February 2022 to January 2023. Master Sergeant Maksym Stryzhak who participated in the defence of the city of Bakhmut also received the title of the Hero of Ukraine.

The order was also given to the family of a fallen Hero of Ukraine, Senior Lieutenant Vladyslav Skvortsov, who excelled at the beginning of the war during the battles for the settlement of Okhtyrka and the liberation of the settlement of Trostianets. Zolota Zirka was also awarded to the parents of the mortar battery commander, Senior Lieutenant Andrii Soroka, who showed outstanding performance last summer in the fights near the settlement of Marinka in Donetsk Oblast. Oleksandr Fedorchenko, Fire Support Company Chief Sergeant, also received the title of the Hero of Ukraine posthumously.

The family of combat medic Yevhen Khrapko who volunteered in the Joint Operation Forces zone in Donbas since 2014 and served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 2016 also received this order. Moreover, the President awarded Oleksii Hrebenshchykov, the Hero of Ukraine and Air Force pilot who has been defending Ukraine since the beginning of the war, with the Zolota Zirka order. Lieutenant Colonel Semen Kukharenko who defended the settlements of Donetsk Oblast, mainly Bakhmut, in the spring and summer of 2023 was also given the highest state award, the Hero of Ukraine title.

Lieutenant Colonel Oleksandr Marchuk who participated in the assault on the Russian positions in Zaporizhzhia Oblast this summer received Zolota Zirka from the President. The title of the Hero of Ukraine and the Zolota Zirka (Gold Star) order were awarded to Lieutenant Colonel Kyrylo Peretiatko whose guidance facilitated the downing of 65 air targets of the Russians in July-August 2023. Pilot of the Air Force, Captain Ihor Kharchenko who has conducted 107 combat flights since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine also received the title of the Hero of Ukraine.

Zolota Zirka (Gold Star) was awarded to Senior Lieutenant Serhii Kharchenko who killed many Russian soldiers since the beginning of the war as a part of the National Guard of Ukraine battalion. Zelenskyy also awarded the honour of the President of Ukraine, Cross of Military Merit, to four soldiers. He rewarded Ukrainian defenders with the Bohdan Khmelnytskyi order of the I-III degrees, the Order for Courage of the III degree, the Order of Merit of the III degree and the Danylo Halytskyi order.
