Ukrainian drones attacking Sochi and Smolensk

This is reported by Militarnyi, with a reference to eyewitness accounts. The governor of the Smolensk region, Vasily Anokhin, said that five aircraft-type drones attempted to attack the Smolensk city. According to Anokhin, drones targeted the local aviation plant Severny.

He said that the drones were suppressed by electronic warfare and air defense. There is no information on casualties and infrastructure damage.

In addition, drones were spotted over the Krasnodar Krai, where they attacked a helicopter parking lot near the city of Sochi. Local residents recorded drones at about 7:40 a.m. from the Adler district of Sochi.

At the same time, flights at the local airport were suspended, airborne aircraft were redirected to reserve airfields. An hour later, at 8:30 a.m., flights stopped, as well as in Smolensk; the local authorities reported that drones were suppressed by air defense. Recall that on September 20, 2923, it was reported that a drone hit an oil depot in the Adler district of Sochi.
