For more than a year, Polish defense industry workers have been operating in the field near the line of contact, where they help the Ukrainian military with the repair and maintenance of Western weapons. In particular, the photos published below show the work of Polish specialists on the Leopard 2A4 tank knocked out in battle and the study of breakdowns on the Krab self-propelled guns transferred by Poland.

The deployment of a service center for servicing Western armored vehicles in Poland faced several conflicts between the organizers - German arms companies Rheinmetall and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) and Polish Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ). Due to this, the opening of the service center for the damaged Ukrainian Leopard 2 was postponed from May until the end of July. In addition, as part of the signed agreement between Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa and the Ukrainian concern Ukrokronprom, the Polish defense industry mastered the repair of Soviet armored vehicles.

In particular, in April, at the Polish armored plant, Bumar-Labedy began work on repairing ?-64 tanks.
