Russia hits city market and petrol stations, killing 8 people

The Russian military hit a market, a bus station, petrol stations and residential buildings in the city of Kurakhove, Donetsk Oblast, on 7 December. At least eight civilians were killed in the attack. Updated at 16:20: Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the Ukrainian President's Office, reported that 8 people had been killed and 5 wounded. He also said the attack was carried out with the use of multiple rocket launchers.

  

Updated at 16:50: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the strike: "Terrorists are inhuman. And they will be responsible for this." He also reported that six people were killed, but not eight.
