The equipment arrived at the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment-Blackhorse of the United States Army. The regiment received new armored personnel carriers, which are presented as Russian BTR-87 (based on the Stryker APC) and the Russian Tiger SUV. The BTR-87 was developed with the use of components and units of the BTR-82A armored personnel carrier, but it cannot be called a modernization of the BTR-82A, as new elements appeared as a result of the modifications.

An American OPFOR mockup of a wheeled self-propelled artillery mount, presented as a French CAESAR self-propelled howitzer, was also received. "These vehicles are visually modified in order to provide Rotational Units realistic training," the US military said.

This regiment plays the role of the opposing force (OPFOR) in the US Army exercises. The role of the OPFOR is to simulate the enemy, thereby creating tough and realistic training for infantry battalions.
Previously, this regiment was armed with equipment reminiscent of Russian tanks, BMP-2 and 2S6 Tunguska.
