The Foundation announced this on its social media. These mobile maintenance workshops were developed by the Foundation's specialists, taking into account the experience, wishes, and requests of the military. Each workshop is equipped not only with standard maintenance tools but also with additional equipment: a manipulator, generator, compressor, and mobile tire changer.

Due to this equipment, the workshop is able to "reanimate" cars, HMMWVs, and other wheeled armored vehicles of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the field. It is noted that in 2022 and 2023, the Foundation transferred ten mobile maintenance workshops to the Army.

Due to six such repair shops, 1393 units of wheeled vehicles used at the frontlines have already been restored. The workshops are built on a MAN chassis. "These stations are a kind of mobile workshop that significantly speeds up and simplifies the repair of armored vehicles and other military equipment," explains one of the soldiers who started working in the workshop with the Come Back Alive Foundation. "For example, we used to take the wheels off the vehicles, do tire fitting, and return them.

Now we come to the site and repair and maintain the wheelbase, engine, and everything else in the field," the Foundation added.

The Come Back Alive Foundation emphasizes that this is a ready-made comprehensive solution that will allow for the repair and maintenance of equipment in a matter of hours and near the front line. The workshops significantly increase the capabilities and potential for repairing and maintaining Western armored vehicles and vehicles that are being transferred to Ukraine as military technical assistance.

Other specialists in Ukraine are also engaged in similar projects.

For example, the Petro Poroshenko Foundation manufactures mobile car repair shops on the basis of Leyland DAF.

Ukrainian volunteers have also designed and manufactured mobile workshops based on a Mitsubishi L200 pickup truck.
