The Vysokotochnye Kompleksy holding (part of Rostec) tested the anti-F?V-drone EW systems in the composition of infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs). "Now, the issue of supplying IFVs with such equipment is being considered," the corporation shared. FPV drones are a serious threat to infantry fighting vehicles in modern warfare, and protection against them should ensure the survivability of equipment.

"The work is currently underway to incorporate such systems in the IFV equipment," Rostec added.
The Vysokotochnye Kompleksy holding includes Russia's only IFV manufacturer - Kurganmashzavod JSC. Anti-FPV systems are also developed at the civil level in Russia. Russians recently tested two drone defense systems on a civilian UAZ minibus.
One of the systems was purchased by the Russian company RusKrep in China, while the other was made in Russia. During tests, the Chinese system managed to jam the FPV drone at a distance of 40 to 45 meters from the target.
The Russian system was not able to suppress the FPV drone, which was able to fly over the vehicle, but the operator had some problems with control.
