Intimidation of Ukrainian diplomats: embassy in Greece receives bloody package

The Embassy of Ukraine in Greece has received by mail a bloody package, identical to those sent earlier to Ukrainian diplomats in other countries.  Source: Oleh Nikolenko, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, European Pravda reports.  According to Nikolenko, the parcel arrived in the morning of December 12, becoming the 28th such shipment for the Ukrainian diplomatic missions.

"The sender's address is the same as on the rest of the envelopes previously sent to Ukrainian embassies and consulates: the Tesla car dealership in the German town of Sindelfingen. The Greek police have started an investigation. We also expect the German law enforcement officers to speed up the investigation," Oleh Nikolenko said.

In total, recently, there have been 33 cases of threats to Ukrainian diplomats in 17 countries, including one attempted terrorist attack, two reports of mining, one case of vandalism, one written threat, and 28 bloody packages.

"As Dmytro Kuleba (Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine - ed.) said, no matter how hard the enemies try to intimidate Ukrainian diplomacy, they will not succeed. We are working for victory," the spokesman added. Background: On November 30, the Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid received a suspicious package containing an explosive device that detonated upon opening.

Similar packages were received by several addresses in Spain, which European Pravda described in detail in the article Explosion in Embassy That Should Change Spain's Policy on Weapon Supply to Ukraine.
