The President reported about this on his official social media page. In his daily report, Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about the increase in the rate of arms production by the Ukrainian military-industrial complex. "Our efforts to increase our own production are also paying off.
For the first time, we have reached the figure of six Bohdana self-propelled howitzers per month. And we already see how to increase it further," Zelensky said.

For example, it has been known that Ukrainian self-propelled howitzers are being produced in parallel in several modifications to increase the volume of the batch. In addition, the manufacturer is also developing several more versions of the self-propelled howitzers. Presumably, the different versions refer to wheeled howitzers on the chassis of MAZ-6317 trucks and Tatra T815 8x8 trucks.
Production of the Bohdana self-propelled howitzers
Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov first publicly reported about the start of mass production of Ukrainian self-propelled howitzers in January 2023.
He said that Ukraine has financed the serial production of the domestic Bohdana 155mm self-propelled howitzers. According to the minister, the work began in the spring of 2022. On May 4, Militarnyi published photos found on the Internet showing the production process of a serial version of the Ukrainian Bohdana self-propelled howitzer.

And in November it became known that the howitzers had finally been modernized and equipped with a full-fledged projectile rammer, which simplified and accelerated the operation of the howitzer.

At the same time, an unknown number of Ukrainian self-propelled howitzers are performing combat missions on the front line as part of the 1st Special Purpose Brigade and the 47th Artillery Brigade.
