Serhiy Naiev published a video of the fortifications on his page. According to the Lieutenant General, private companies under the leadership of military engineers are involved in the construction of defense lines. Work on their construction is conducted around the clock.

During these works, all means of mechanization, engineering equipment, and tools are used. The defense lines are represented by numerous lines of trenches fortified with gabions and sand.

They connect dugouts and long-term firing points into a single network. The footage reveals that the fortifications are being assembled to their final form from ready-made reinforced concrete structures already in position.

There, they are welded, covered with waterproofing to avoid flooding, and dug into the ground. Outside, the exposed part of the concrete structures is welded with anti-munition gratings, which are supposed to neutralize HEAT that could pierce the walls.

Engineers also place non-explosive engineering barriers in the likely directions in front of the fortifications of the enemy's offensive.

In particular, several rows of anti-tank concrete barriers in the form of pyramids should slow down the passage of armored vehicles. In addition, it seems that the construction of anti-personnel barriers is also planned. This is supported by the large amount of barbed wire caught in the frame.

To ensure the pace of construction of new defense lines this month, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated UAH 788.8 million from the reserve fund of the state budget.

These funds will be used to purchase vehicles and engineering equipment.
