The press service of the brigade reported this. The enemy drone was defeated using the Swedish RBS 70 man-portable air-defense system by Saab. The hunt for SuperSam UAVs and other reconnaissance drones is ongoing, and Militarnyi has repeatedly reported on the defeat of individual crews using high-precision artillery.

On December 12, it was reported that the M142 HIMARS rocket system hit a vehicle, a drone, and its crew with a single shell in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The Russian invaders were using the Supercam drone for aerial photography to create highly detailed digital maps and to conduct remote aerial monitoring of the area and objects.

The deployment time is 45 seconds, and reloading can be done in less than 5 seconds. The launcher weighs 35 kilograms and is equipped with an optical sight and thermal imager.

It is reported that as of the beginning of 2022, 19 countries that have purchased a total of 1600 launchers and more than 17000 missiles are RBS 70 operators.

Ukraine is also among the countries that use Swedish man-portable air defense systems. In March 2023, Militarnyi reported that the RBS 70 was used by soldiers of the newly created 88th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On July 10, information appeared that the 47th Mechanized Brigade Magura received Swedish RBS 70 air defense systems.

In August, anti-aircraft gunners of the 47th Brigade shot down a Russian Ka-52 helicopter in the Zaporizhzhia region using RBS 70.
