Two men die after Russian mine detonates in Izium region

Two men died in the village of Dovhenke in Kharkiv Oblast after stepping on a mine. Source: General Prosecutor's Office on Telegram Quote: "According to the investigation, two local men went out on a search of cattle which got lost in the village of Dovhenke in the Izium region.

They did not come back that day. Their families were looking for them throughout the village and did not find them. After that they turned to law enforcement."

Details: Law enforcement used drones to look for the two men.

Their bodies were found on 18 December - they stepped on a mine left by the occupiers. Due to this, a pre-trial investigation was opened under Art.438 p.
