It is reported that the ship was disguised and may soon enter combat duty. "Our agents, after a long time of reconnaissance and expectations, were able to record the redeployment of the Project 775 landing ship to the Count's Jetty of Sevastopol," the resistance movement members said. Atesh points out that upon reaching the harbor, the ship was reversed and concealed with disguises.

"Most likely, it will soon perform combat duty.
We have long passed all operational information to the Defense Forces of Ukraine," Atesh noted. It is noteworthy that the Ukrainian Defense Forces have already had experience with the destruction of this type of ship; in particular, it concerns the Novocherkassk ship (VDK-46) on December 26, 2023. Then the defeat of the ship took place in the morning during its parking in the port of Feodosia, in temporarily occupied Crimea.
After the ship was hit, a fire began on it, as a result of which a powerful detonation occurred, indicating the presence of explosive cargo on board.

Even before the start of the full-scale invasion, the Russians reinforced the Black Sea Fleet with an additional number of landing ships, which they planned to use for assault operation in Odesa.

Recall that in September 2023, the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces told how they helped attack the Minsk--a large Russian landing ship--in the occupied Crimea.
