Car explosion in Berdiansk: So-called “commandant” lost his legs and is fighting for life

ALONA MAZURENKO[1] -- TUESDAY, 6 SEPTEMBER 2022,19:35 Russian occupation authorities have denied the death of Artem Bardin, the so-called "commandant" of the Russian-occupied city of Berdiansk, in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, whose car exploded in the city centre. They reported that Bardin had lost both his legs and the doctors are fighting for his life.

Source: Kremlin-aligned Russian news outlets RIA Novosti[2] and TASS[3]. Details: At first, collaborators and state traitors to Ukraine informed Russian propagandists that Bardin had died of his injuries. However, they later retracted this information.

Instead, collaborators with the occupiers have said that Bardin lost both his legs and lost a significant amount of blood.

Quote: "Reports of the death of Artem Bardin, the 'commandant' of Berdiansk, have not been confirmed. Despite severe injuries, losing both his legs in the explosion, and severe loss of blood, he has survived. Doctors are continuing to fight for his life."

More details: On 6 September, Bardin's car exploded in occupied Berdiansk and he was taken to hospital in severe condition.
