The 15th Artillery Reconnaissance Brigade ("Black Forest"), said that they had used FPV drones and artillery. "In the east of the country there is a heavy cloudiness without precipitation. Sometimes there was a cluster of Grads (Hail - ed.), but we quickly dealt with this dangerous phenomenon," said the military.
One of the invaders' Grad was deployed in the area of the village of Pishchane, which is in the Severodonetsk district of the Luhansk region. The Ukrainian artillery managed to accurately hit rocket launchers at the first attempt.
It is worth noting that the Brigade received the honorable name "Black Forest" only in 2023. The brigade bears the honorable name "Black Forest" in honor of the historical area of Dnieper Ukraine, which was famous for its rebels. Prior to this, the 15th Artillery Reconnaissance Brigade actively participated in hostilities in eastern Ukraine.
Also in September 2022, the brigade participated in the 2022 Kharkiv counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Ukrainian charities are also trying to strengthen this Brigade. In 2023, the Come Back Alive Foundation transferred Shark aerial reconnaissance systems to the Brigade that should help with the detection of the enemy and adjusting artillery fire.
