Rheinmetall AG reported about this on the company's website. The current follow up orders also include kits for conversion and the supply of spare part packages. Booked in December 2023, the order is worth a figure in the three-digit million-euro range.
Delivery of the kits -- both for production and modernization -- starts this year and will be complete in 2028. Rheinmetall noted that in recent years, production facilities in a partner country have received additional investments to ensure high-quality armored vehicle production. Presumably, it regards Algeria, where Fuchs 2 armored personnel carriers are produced under license.

Around 1,800 Fuchs vehicles have been built to date.
Armed forces of many nations deploy various versions of the vehicle that can be used as an armored personnel carrier, mobile command post, field ambulance or for NBC reconnaissance. The German Bundeswehr has fielded multiple versions of the Fuchs 1 since 1979.
The Bundeswehr has a total of around 940 Fuchs vehicles in its inventory.

The armored personnel carrier can be equipped with a wide range of weapon systems, including its own single turret armed with a 30mm gun and a 7.62mm machine gun, as well as various missile launchers, including anti-tank missiles.
Last September, Rheinmetall CEO Armin Papperger said that Ukraine was planning to produce Fuchs armored personnel carriers.
