"Only FPV drones are 900 units, and there are other drones. They will save our defenders now, during the period of shelling," the politician said. The politician also noted that the Petro Poroshenko Foundation would send almost £1 million worth of drones to the frontline every month.

"When you come to the frontline, you hear that there are never too many drones. There are a thousand drones here now. And this is the fifth thousand we are sending to our military.

Among them, we sent almost a thousand to the 110th Brigade near Avdiivka, and almost a thousand to the 53rd Brigade. And when there was nothing to fight with," Poroshenko said.

Typically, 10-inch SPIDER-2 FPV drones have a payload capacity of up to 4 kg. The drone can reach speeds of up to 140 kilometers per hour and climb to an altitude of 7,000 meters to cover all the pilot's needs.

The GPS positioning system helps them navigate in space and complete tasks with maximum accuracy. "This work will continue. We will try not to lose track of the schedule so that at least 2 thousand drones per month - which is almost a million dollars - get to the front line," Petro Poroshenko said.

As previously reported, in December, Poroshenko handed over a batch of H10 Poseidon UAVs, special trucks and airsoft rifles to Ukrainian Defense Forces for training.
