The official Telegram channel of the 3rd Assault Brigade reported on this. The day before, the enemy had attacked the southeastern part of the city and entered the outskirts of the city. To prevent the enemy from gaining a foothold, the 1st and 2nd Assault Battalions conducted an operation to clear the city of enemy forces.
It should be noted that the enemy still managed to fortify itself and prepare for a long defense in a short period of time.

Those invaders who remained after long battles were offered to surrender, but since they refused, the remnants of the enemy groups were destroyed.
"As of now, Krasnohorivka is under the control of Ukrainian troops," the 3rd Brigade noted. Prior to the assault, Russians actively shelled the city with cannon and rocket artillery. The invaders also used aircraft to bombard the city.
The Russians engaged strike aircraft to shell the city, which dropped 1,500 kg of FAB-1500 bombs on a local brick factory. It should be noted that the enemy suffers heavy losses in this area due to the well-organized defense of Ukrainian defenders.
Militarnyi previously reported that the Russian military command sent armored vehicles and infantry to assault the coal mine between Krasnohorivka and Mariyinka.
The Russian invaders failed to conduct an organized assault, which resulted in the destruction of a large number of armored vehicles and personnel.
