On the night of Tuesday, March 12, a fire broke out at an oil depot in the Russian city of Oryol and an oil refinery in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Telegram channels and the Russian media reported on it. An explosion followed by a fire occurred at night at an oil depot in the Russian city of Oryol.
Shortly before the fire broke out, local residents heard an explosion. According to Russian media, a drone attack caused the fire. Several fire crews arrived at the scene to extinguish the fire.

Later, Andrey Klychkov, governor of the Oryol region, confirmed that a UAV crash caused the fire.
Also, early in the morning of March 12, a drone attacked the Lukoil Nizhny Novgorod Refinery in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod region. It is reported that the drone directly hit the oil refinery.
As a result of the strike, a large-scale fire broke out on the enterprise's territory. Lukoil, the company that owns this Russian refinery, reported that the operation of the technological unit at the enterprise was suspended "due to an incident." However, they did not specify what kind of incident it was.

Later, Gleb Nikitin, governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation, confirmed the information about the drone strike on the oil refinery in Kstovo.

"In the morning, the Kstovo industrial zone, a fuel and energy complex facility, was attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles," Nikitin said.

He also added that the strike caused a fire at one of the oil distillation units.
Emergency services are working at the site, and a fire train has been deployed to extinguish the fire at the enterprise.
