A drone hit a Russian oil refinery in Nizhnekamsk, Tatarstan. Telegram channels report this and publish photos of the fire at the refinery. The drone attack on the Russian refinery took place early in the morning on April 2.

This is the Taneco oil refinery in the city of Nizhnekamsk in the Republic of Tatarstan. The region's governor confirmed the attack on the refinery, but in his statement, he did not specify the name of the refinery that was attacked.

According to preliminary data, a drone hit one of the processing units. After that, a fire broke out. "This morning, unmanned aerial vehicles attacked the republic's factories in Yelabuga and Nizhnekamsk," Rustam Minnikhanov, head of the region, said.

According to Baza, at least three people were injured at the refinery. Today, on April 2, drones hit Russian factories in the Republic of Tatarstan for the first time. The explosions took place in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone, where Shahed drone production facilities are located.

In particular, on the night of March 23, drones attacked the Kuibyshev oil refinery in the Samara region for the second time recently.

According to eyewitnesses, the AVT-5 atmospheric-vacuum oil distillation system was attacked at around 2 a.m. As a result of the attack, a massive fire broke out on the territory of the refinery. Witnesses reported a large number of fire trucks.

The Kuibyshev oil refinery specializes in the production of lubricants, gasoline, and diesel fuel, along with several dozen other oil products.
